The building was constructed in 1940, and it is located in El
Vedado section, historically the artistic and cultural center of
the city, where famous celebrities once (and some of them still
do) lived!
At "Casa Antigua", eclectic decorative elements from different
cultures make a for an interesting decorative fusion, while
preserving the neo-classical and the Cuban colonial
architecture. The green wooden structures and Corinthian columns
in the veranda give this area a touch of class.
Upon arriving to the first stair landing, one easily sees a
welcoming Victorian image lamp shining from above, and can enjoy
a beautiful shrine of the “Virgen de la Caridad del Cobre”,
Cuba's patron saint, and our most important religious symbol.
The rooms overlook the central courtyard of the house, which is completely surrounded by plants and an intense tropical light as well as some crafts made by friends or ourselves, you can enjoy quietly while we discuss about visiting plans, history or politics
